Those first days can feel beautiful, exhausting, and overwhelming all at once. Once your baby is here, it’s hard to find an appointment, leave the house, and fit every question into a short visit.
I’m Dr. Irissa Rosario, MD — a board-certified pediatrician and mom of six. I offer newborn home visits and procedures that complement your baby’s established primary care, with additional follow-up available when a newborn concern requires closer monitoring.

Every family starts with a comprehensive $350 newborn home visit. You do not need to choose a package before your baby is evaluated.
If your baby needs continued weight, feeding, or jaundice monitoring, you may follow up with your pediatrician or add wrap-around care.

After birth, everything moves quickly. Feeding changes by the hour, sleep is broken, visitors are texting, and even a simple appointment can feel like packing for a tiny expedition.
A Meet & Greet before baby is born gives us a chance to talk, understand what kind of support you may want, and plan for a home visit or procedure if needed.
It’s recommended you have a plan for follow-up care with a pediatrician or family physician for routine visits. My role is to provide an additional layer of newborn support at home, while your baby’s primary clinician remains responsible for routine and ongoing pediatric care.

After baby is born
Once your baby arrives, we already have a plan. You reach out to schedule the home visit or procedure without explaining everything from scratch during the newborn fog.
These visits are designed for the first few weeks of life, and are most helpful when families want extra time, reassurance, and newborn-focused support at home.
Start with one thoughtful visit. Add continued care only if your baby needs it.

Comprehensive Newborn Home Visit
I come to your home for an unhurried evaluation of your baby’s transition, feeding, weight, jaundice, and overall well-being. For many healthy newborns, this single visit and a clear follow-up plan may be all that is needed.
- Complete newborn examination
- Weight and hydration assessment
- Jaundice evaluation
- Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding review
- Latch, milk transfer, reflux, gas, and crying concerns
- Tongue-tie screening when feeding concerns are present
- A clear plan for routine or continued follow-up
Wrap-Around Newborn Care
Some babies need closer follow-up for jaundice, feeding difficulties, excessive weight loss, slow weight gain, or another concern identified during the first visit.
When continued monitoring is recommended, you may arrange follow-up with your baby’s established pediatrician or add my wrap-around newborn care for an additional fee.
- Continued care for the concern identified during the initial visit
- Up to 4 weeks of support
- Repeat weight, feeding, hydration, and jaundice assessments
- Review of bilirubin or other results ordered during your care
- Secure messaging related to the concern being followed
- Coordination with lactation or your baby’s pediatrician when appropriate
Total with the initial visit: $1,000. Families are not charged for wrap-around care unless continued follow-up is recommended and they choose to continue care with me.
Travel note: A $75 travel fee applies for home visits beyond a 30-minute radius of Oviedo, Florida. Travel is available up to one hour from Oviedo.
Extra time for the questions that come up after birth.
Your routine pediatrician may address these too. This is another layer of newborn-focused support at home, especially when you want more time to talk things through.

Procedures may be discussed prenatally and scheduled after birth. I use shared decision-making, with a focus on your baby’s comfort, safety, feeding, and follow-up.
